One tip that I have found to be useful for saving money on groceries is to go through your pantry and gather website addresses off of labels for all the products you commonly use. Visit the websites and sign up with the site if the option is offered. You will often get exclusive coupons and sometimes free samples of new products by doing this. Then find their contact info and write them a nice e-mail stating that you love their products, perhaps a bit about how you use them, and that you would love to receive any coupons or literature they might have. I have scored some great freebies and coupons doing this. Silk soymilk was a real standout, they sent me multiple coupons for free products!
